Sanitisation and disinfection in Florence

Disinfection of healthcare, food and high-traffic environments.

Cleaning and sanitising are two distinct operations, and the second does not replace the first. A dirty surface cannot be disinfected: the product works on the dirt, not on the surface underneath. You clean, then you sanitise, in that order.

We work in places where the risk is not theoretical: surgeries and medical rooms, kitchens and food labs, gyms, nurseries, changing rooms, public-facing offices.

We use compliant products whose data sheets stay available to the client. Where a written record of the work is needed for an authority or an insurer, we issue one, stating what was treated, with what, and when.

Cleaning and sanitising are not the same thing

This is the mistake we find most often in specifications, and it is expensive when an inspector turns up. Cleaning removes the dirt; sanitising cuts the microbial load on a surface that is already clean. Reversing the order, or doing only the second, means paying for a product that works on dust.

Sanitising surgeries and medical practices

Waiting rooms, couches, handles, washrooms, repeated contact points. Registered biocidal products where they are required, cloths dedicated to each zone, and an order of work running from the least to the most contaminated. Equipment does not go back: you do not clean a waiting room with what has been in the toilet.

Kitchens, canteens and food labs

Here the inspection arrives unannounced and looks at the places nobody cleans: under the equipment, the seals on the cold rooms, the drains. We work to a written procedure, consistent with the site’s own HACCP plan, and leave a record of what was treated and when.

Gyms, changing rooms and nurseries

Warm, humid, very high traffic: exactly the conditions in which fungi and viruses actually spread. Equipment, mats, benches, showers, toys. Frequencies are agreed around opening hours, because a gym sanitised at six in the evening achieves nothing.

The written record of the work

We issue a document stating the areas treated, the products used, the date and the time. It is what you need when an authority, an insurer or a client who has to prove something in turn asks for it. Product data sheets stay available without having to be requested.
