Removals and porterage in Florence

Removals, clearances, loading and unloading, with our own vehicles.

Porterage is our second activity by volume, and it is not a filler service added to pad out the list: close to a thousand jobs since the start of the year, for some thirty clients who call us back.

Offices to move over a weekend, cellars and premises to clear, goods to load and unload, internal warehouse handling. We have our own vehicles and lifting equipment, so we do not depend on a hire that falls through at the last minute.

Packing materials are on us. Anyone who has moved once using supermarket boxes knows why that is a line worth paying for.

House removals in Florence

The historic centre is the hard part: narrow streets, permits to occupy the road, staircases a wardrobe will not turn on. You look first, measure the stairwell and decide whether it has to go through a window. A removal quoted without seeing the stairs is a removal that overruns.

Office moves over a weekend

An office moves on Friday evening and works on Monday morning. Numbered workstations, labelled cables, archives arriving in the order they left in. This is the kind of job where the packing matters more than the muscle.

Clearing cellars, attics and flats

Emptying a cellar holding thirty years of things, clearing a flat going back on the rental market, closing down a shop. We take everything away, dispose of what has to be disposed of and, if you want, leave the place clean rather than empty and dusty.

Loading, unloading and warehouse handling

For companies this is the most recurrent service: teams on call to unload a lorry, move pallets, reorganise racking. You do not hire for a peak, we send the people needed on the day they are needed.

What does not deserve a skip

A lot of usable furniture comes out of a clearance. Rather than throw it away we put it back on sale in our second-hand shop, and that has a concrete effect on the price of a clearance: what can be recovered is not paid for twice.

Where we work

The city of Florence, the province, Prato and Pistoia. Teams leave from via Ferrarin, out on the plain, and that is why a night job at Osmannoro costs what it costs.
