Grounds and garden maintenance in Florence
Green space maintenance for apartment blocks, companies and public bodies.
Clients who hand us the communal areas of a building almost always end up asking about the garden too: same property, same contact, and little sense in two different firms coming through the same gate.
Routine maintenance: mowing and edging, pruning of hedges, shrubs and ornamental plants, clearing leaves and green waste, general upkeep of the grounds.
Irrigation: design, installation and management of automatic systems, with periodic checks, seasonal adjustment and maintenance of sprinklers and pipework. A properly set system uses less water than a hose left running by eye.
Communal grounds maintenance
An annual contract with a calendar by season: how many cuts between March and October, when the hedges are trimmed, who clears the leaves in November. The managing agent knows in advance what is included, and the general meeting does not argue about what was planned, because it is written down.

Grass cut at the right height for the season, edges finished along walls, paths and beds, clippings collected and taken away. Cutting too short in summer is the fastest way to scorch a lawn: the blade goes up in June and down in autumn.
Pruning hedges, shrubs and ornamental plants
Every species has its moment, and pruning out of season costs you a flowering. We work on hedges to be shaped, shrubs to be kept in check, ornamental plants to be thinned. For tall trees, where a qualified tree climber is needed, we say so beforehand instead of improvising with a ladder.
Automatic irrigation systems
Design, installation and management. A properly set system waters before dawn, when the water does not evaporate, and is adjusted twice a year. Watering by eye with a hose uses more and gives you a worse lawn, and on an apartment block the difference shows up on the bill.
Companies, public bodies and outdoor areas
Yards, corporate beds, green areas at schools and public buildings. The constraint here is timing: we work before opening or on closing days, because a brushcutter among children or customers is not an option.
